I just received a new requirement from the busines, they want to be able to Control how sales administrators give prices to customers, for example standard SAP pricing condition type PR00, so basically if they manually change the prices to 0, the system should flag a warning, if they over charge the customer by 100%, the system should flag this as well
How can this be achieved, i have checked various threads but have not seen anything so far

We have one script logic, which has clear statement or set of data region followed by a custom badi.
However this scipt was there in default logic, however to improve performance we have placed this script logic in separate logic file.
we have tried to call this script from DMP, however when we link to allocation process chain it got failed.
could you please let us know, to which standard process chain we can relate to call this script.. There are no parameters to pass explicitly because we are scoping everything in script logic.

Hi everyone,
In BI 4.1 SP6 there is the ability to schedule Webi reports to SFTP and secure email. We currently use the Enterprise .NET SDK (XI 3.1 SP6) to integrate report scheduling into our .NET application and this works fine with our BI 4.1 SP3 installation.
If we wish to make use of the new SFTP and secure email functionality do we need to upgrade our .NET SDK to the latest BI 4.1 SP6 or can we continue to use our existing XI 3.1 SP6 SDK?
Can we make use of RESTful web services instead of the .NET SDK to schedule reports to SFTP and secure email?

I have activated the ERP_UTILITIES_UMC Odata service on SAP Gateway system. Currently the challenge is fetching data i.e GET operation as there are certain prerequisites required to be fulfilled before hitting the particular entity set.
I am looking for this prerequisites at one place, Can some one list down the configuration require for successful functioning of OData Service of below sets:

Invoices
Although I managed to have few service URI up and running referring to Help portal. Likewise I am able to get relevant data for the MeterReadingResults.

Hi,
Our environment is SRM 5.5 server with 2 R/3 backend systems. One of the R/3 systems is in another country. We happen to have RFC problems during the communication between the SRM and R/3 server.
Below you can find the SM21 log related to an operation on SRM server. What might be the reason for this problem? Does anyone know the solution?

I have done as suggested in note 1459896 but it's not working.
I have added the header table with such value
concatenate '&SO_FILENAME=' lv_filename into lv_text_line.
append lv_text_line to lt_att_head.
passing header table to
lo_document->add_attachment( exporting i_attachment_type = 'XLS'
i_attachment_subject = 'AttachmentFilename'
i_attachment_size = lv_size
i_attachment_header = lt_att_head
i_att_content_hex = binary_content ).
but when I try to open it in SOST it says," file format or extension is not valid " .
Do you think if I send thsi mail to outlook it will work. ?

I am getting error " This Method should only be called once (WIS 0000). when I try to refresh web intelligence report based on BEX Query.
the report is been successfully refreshed by other 2 colleagues but i am not able to refresh this.
This report was modified by other 2 colleagues and they are able to run the report without any error. We all have same kind of access, rights etc..

Has anyone had weird things happen when running a PB12.6 app on Windows 10? One of my clients recently upgraded their computer to Windows 10. When running an app that has been running fine for many years, they had a big surprise. On a data entry screen, when they clicked the 'Save' button, instead of doing what it has always done, it opened an app called "One Note" and showed a report.
The 'Save' button usually compares the current record with the db to check for a duplicate and if it is not, then writes the record to the db. Other than a retrieve from the db, it does no external calls.

Is there any way to reset/undo any changes on the Access Rights?
By accident I have made some changes to the "Work Center and View Assignment" of an account. At the "Changes" tab I can display the changes that were made.
Do I have to manually change everything back or is there any kind of method of restore the settings from date X?
If there is no such feature, I would like to point out, that this would be a nice feature for a future release.

we have great problem : the response of web service is: The SFC ********** Doesn't exist , Authorization failed. Please check security log for details. …..
The response is succes when we repeat the call.
this problem is not systematic, but we are this error for 20% of call .
we get around of this problem by usinp the papi web service: manufacturing-papiservices/SfcStateServiceWSService/findSfcByName
Can you confirm this issues ?
Is there another manufacturing-services with similar behavoir ?
Should we stop usine the manufacturing-services ?

I'm creating an Semantic Layer in Information Design Tool with this set:
1. An Date Dimension with CALCULATED COLUMN as min() and another as max() from the primary key of the table;
2. Using the generated column as the join comparison to the fact table;
3. Using Date Parts for the Business Layer (year, month, day...)
The problem:
When use the Date Parts on Universe, the IDT isn't creating the GROUP BY clause. When manually input the GROUP BY for the selected column from table, all works fine.
Any sugestions about what's wrong?

Condition type Minimum hours for Service material

For SD point of view in Debit memo request.
I have used PMIN condition and we are able to get minimum value for this line in DMR but we need to use minimum hours. So that system should calculate pricing based on minimum hours. We have informed our client that we are charging him for minimum hours and not actual hours.
For example: we provide service to customer for hour 8 hour (not yet billed), when service has done, our consultant will confirm actual service hour, let say 4 Hour. So based on the agreement, even they only use 4 hr, they have to pay for 8 hr service.
I have checked condition type PMIN which is minimum value, do we have any condition which is for minimum hours?
I have checked couple of conditions type like EDI/AMIW/AMIZ etc but could not able to get the solution.
Pls let me know if you need any further inputs.

We are having major problem in our project..Let me tell the background for the same..In our project the development system consist with 2 clients for example :-DE 130,DE 100..
Client DE 100,is used for functional testing (functional consultant)where as client DE 130 used for developer..
Right now the issue is Table T133A in Client DE 130 (Logical Screens: Attributes) is not sync with Client 100.Table T133A does not have first 6 sequence number in DE 130 whereas all the sequence number is present in client 100..
I have checked several post in SCN regarding screen sequence of material master and checked possible options under the path
IMG-> Logistics general-> Material master-> Configuring material master->Define structure of data screens for each screen sequence.
But I am unable to trace out the reason of the mismatch between those two clients..I have attached screen shot of table T133A corresponding to client DE 130 and DE 100..
Kindly review the screen shot and advice me for the necessary steps so that the mismatch can be traced out..Also let me know how this table is getting updated..Let me know if further information is required ...Thanks in advance...

I have in ECC work centre set up which is up and running
1.assigned to Master recippe with its operations and sub operations,phases
2. product assigned to work center
I am calling this as ECC set up ;
if I CIF this ECC set up (work centre, master recippe,product )via PDS
1. Will it get auto populated in RES01 or should I manually create in APO so as to reflect the ECC set up.
The reason I am asking is there exists a ECC set up relevant to resources well in place that follows a certain (resource) hierarchy ,the same resource hierarchy has to be copied in APO, without distortion
So how do i start with , your input will help me better to explain to client- even before providing APO credentials ,client wants to be clear , what i am going to do and how ?
