Memory Consumption diffrence between Standard & Write-Optimized DSOs

Hi All,

Need your expertise on Total HANA memory consumption of Standard & Write-Optimized DSO's. I have noticed there is huge memory consumption difference between write-Optimized & Standard DSO in BW on HANA system for the same record count.

Here is the example we have Standard DSO : SDSO1& Write-Optimized DSO : WDSO2 and both DSOs are loaded with records of 2800 Millions (aprox).When analyzing noticed that  Standard DSO (SDSO1) consumed memory of 140 GB and where in Write-optimized DSO (WDSO2) consumed memory of 30 GB for the same record count. Not sure why this much difference between both DSOs in the consumption of memory when the record count is same. Any early help is highly appreciated.
